At Techniglaze, we operate a rigorous health and safety system. The system is continually reviewed and updated to ensure we stay up to date with industry requirements. All our employees undergo regular health and safety training to ensure that they understand the importance of a safe working environment. Our directors, managers, fabricators, installers, and administrative staff work together to promote health and safety across the company. We strive to ensure that the necessary framework is in place to protect employees by identifying and removing potential hazards to prevent injury or ill health. All our employees are dedicated to developing our health and safety policies for the benefit of everyone involved.
The Techniglaze factory is equipped with potentially dangerous machinery. It is imperative that all the necessary health and safety procedures are in place to prevent accident and injury. All our fabricators are provided with vital personal protection equipment so they can complete their job safely. They undergo regular health and safety training and work to strict health and safety processes. Our factory displays a range of warning signs to make staff and visitors aware of potential dangers and information on how to react in case of an accident.
On-site health and safety can be complex because of the diversity of construction sites. Both domestic and commercial sites have a variety of potential dangers, some similar, some vastly different. At Techniglaze, all our installers undergo comprehensive health and safety training to ensure they are prepared for any eventuality. Our installers follow strict procedures and always wear the correct personal protection equipment. They will confidently adopt site specific health and safety regulations and are happy to work safely alongside other construction workers.
From our head office and factory in Radstock, Somerset, we install our glazing products across a wide geographical area. For domestic installations, we usually work within a 30-mile radius covering the nearby cities of Bath and Bristol and the neighbouring counties of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
For commercial work, we extend this radius to approximately 120 miles. We have completed commercial installations across the south of England including all the South West, the Home Counties, and Greater London.
